Cohorts / School Years

Summary

A Cohort or School Year is the period of time when a School Program occurs. After creating a School Program, you can create one or more Cohorts/School Years to define the time period(s) when the School Program occurs. In Align, the terms Cohort and School Year can be used interchangeably.

Cohort / School Year Verification

After duplicating a Cohort/School Year, the user will have the opportunity to verify all the dates for the Cohort/School Year, Classes, Assignments and Payment Plans.  This screen is helpful to ensure the dates are showing as you expect them. You can view a side-by-side comparison of: Cohort/School Year Details, Classes, Assignments, Shared Classes, Shared Assignments, and Payment Plans.
