Creating a New User

New Users are created by Navigating to the Staff Users page.

  1. Click the Menu
  2. Click Advanced
  3. In the Users box, click Staff Users
  4. Click 'Create New'
    1. First Name, Last Name, and email are required. All other fields are optional.
  5. Add user Permissions by assigning a team (or several teams) to the user.

Permissions must be added to each user in order to allow them basic access to the system. We have a list of Recommended Minimum Permissions that each user should have.

  • Team Id's refer to any Staff Team permission that you want to add to the User.
  • The Email Address entered will be the one used by the Staff User when logging in.
  • When logging in for the first time, a New User should click 'Forgot Your Password' from the login page, and enter the email address used when creating their account. This will email them a link where they can set a password.

Editing a User

By clicking the Edit Icon, you can edit a Staff User's general information, and manually edit their permissions.

Mimicking a Staff User

You can mimic a Staff User by clicking the Mimic Icon (Person) next to the user you want to mimic. Mimicking a user essentially allows you to experience the Progetta LEARN System as if you were logged in as that user (this is great for testing what Permissions the User has.)

Viewing User Permissions

You can view a User's permissions at a glance by clicking the Permissions Icon (Key) next to their name. Permissions cannot be edited from this page.
