Bulk Actions
3 New Bulk Actions have been added to the system. In addition to Emailing, Adding/Removing Tags, staff users can now:
- Add Fees
- Enroll Students in a Class
- Change Students Status
Please note that the Bulk Action button is now hidden until one or more students have been selected.
Student List: New columns
New columns have been added to the student list:
- Missing Homework (current number of late assignments)
- Absences
Additionally, you can now filter by:
- Class (if school year filter is applied)
- Current Admission Step
- Students without tags
Student List: Select All
Now, when selecting all students from the student list, you have the option to select the 50 students on the first page, or to include ALL students in the view (if over 50)
Upload File in Admissions Process
You can now request a file upload in the admissions process (5MB size limit)
Send Direct Messages to Students
Staff users can now send direct messages to students. Messages are stored in the Staff and Student "My Inbox" page. Notifications are generated for each user involved in the conversation.
Communication Improvements
Several communication improvements have been added to the Align Platform. Improvements include:
- Do Not Reply option for Bulk Action Emails
- Consolidated interface for mass messages and bulk action emails
- Message Notification dropdown in the top menu bar (bell icon)
- Mass Messages can now be saved as drafts, and drafts can be deleted
Student Emails
Students will now receive an email when they receive a direct message in the app.
Announcements in My Inbox
Students will now see announcements on their My Inbox page instead of on the Announcements page. The announcements page has been removed from the app.
Mass Messages
Mass Messages no longer send to any students in a class that have a status of withdrawn or cancelled.
Interview Time Zone
The interview time zone displayed to students will be the time zone that they are in instead of the time zone configured for the school.
