Manual Attendance
Staff users can now manually take attendance for a class. Access the Attendance page by going to School Admin > Happening Today or from the Class Dashboard > Attendance, then click the Date for the day you want to take attendance for.
Optional Discussion Board
Discussion Steps in Lessons can now be configured to ' Optional', allowing students to contribute only if desired. For optional discussion steps, student contribution is NOT required to move through the lesson step.
Alerts
Introducing Alerts! Alerts will now show on a student dashboard if:
- They are Past Due on a payment plan
- They have a certain amount of late assignments (configurable). Please contact Progetta Support to configure number the number of late assignments that trigger an alert.
Alerts display on the student dashboard, and an automated email is sent out to a student when an alert becomes active.
Reapply
Students who have been denied, withdrawn, or cancelled can now reapply to a future school year of the same program.
Badge ID
Align has updated our attendance system to match a student's Badge ID instead of Student ID. This new field gives you flexibility to use any type of badge (barcode, QR code, etc). Update a Badge ID through the Student Menu > Staff Links > Edit Student Info
Partner Links
The 'Apply' button was showing if the ONLY open school period had a partner link associated with it.
Fee Step Update
Fee steps now post the associated fee immediately after a student is moved to the step. Previously, the fee was not posted unless the student logged in to start the fee step.
Lesson Load Time
Lesson load time has been optimized to improve load speeds.
