Resources
Introducing Resources! There are 2 different types of resources that can be created:
- Link: A menu item that links to an external site.
- Document: Documents created in Align, including text, pdf's and links.
Currently, Resource Permissions have only been given to users who belong to the Administrators Team. You can enable Resource Permissions for other teams by going to the Menu > Users > Staff Teams > Edit or for an individual user by going to the Menu > Users > Staff Users > Edit.
Here's how to create a Resource:
Staff Email Automations:
We've added a new action for automations. Based on a certain event, Align can now email a staff user, or email all staff users that belong to a certain staff team. This could be helpful for notifying your team when a new application is started, or when an applicant is ready for review. If you would like assistance in setting up automations to email staff users, please contact Align Support!
Add School Years
Staff users can now add any school year to a student account. Click the School Year Navigation on a student's dashboard, then Add School Year. You can choose a new school year and starting status for the student. Note that the system will expect them to go through the admissions process for that school year. It is recommended that when adding a student to a school year, that they start with the status of Applicant, and work through the admissions process as normal.
Print Question Step Responses
Staff users can now print completed Question Step responses. When viewing student responses, click "Print" at the top of a section to print the whole page. At this time, only question step responses can be printed. Reference responses, and interview notes will be available to print at a later time.
Online Class - Meeting Now Banner
It is now easier for students to access their live online class times. A " Meeting Now" banner will display for online class times when that is in session. Clicking this link will open the live link for that class time.
3 Dot Menu Display Issue
This fix addresses an issue where the 3 Dot Menu does not display completely if there are fewer than 4 student results on the student list.
Payment Report Error
Fixed an error generated when filtering Payment Report page by date range.
Staff Date of Birth and Gender
Staff user Date of Birth and Gender fields have been removed. These fields served no functional purpose and their absence will not affect staff experience in any way.
