Academic Years
Summary
Academic years are used to create date templates that can apply to many school years. Use Academic Years if you have several school years that have identical date configurations. For example, as an elementary school, it's common that all school years (grades K-8) will have the same start and end dates.
If you are a vocational school, you may use Academic Years if you have several campuses that offer the same program with the same dates.
After setting up an Academic Year, you will use use it later when creating a Cohort/School Year.
