School Program Progressions

Summary

When creating progressions for school programs, there are three types that staff users can select. The type of progression you choose depends on the timeframes the school years in the progression will be occurring in relation to one another.

  1. Starts On or After Previous School Year's End Date - This is the most common progression type, where programs happen consecutively without overlapping.
  2. Starts On or After Previous School Year's Start Date - This type would be used for school years that run simultaneously and require student acceptance to one school year in order to apply for the secondary school year.
  3. Finishes On or After Previous School Year's Start Date - This type would be used for school years that run simultaneously and require student acceptance to one school year to apply for the secondary school year, however the secondary year starts at some point before the start date of the initial school year.

Below are some simplified examples of progression types.
