Contact List (K-12)
We've created a new page that compiles all of the contacts on file for students. The list has separate blocks for each student, and below the student row it lists any parents/guardians, emergency contacts, contacts authorized for pickup, individuals who are not permitted contact with students, and any siblings of the student. Any phone numbers and/or email addresses that have been entered for a student's contacts appear on the list. The contact list is able to be filtered by Academic Year, School Year, and Student Status, and can be printed for easy reference during drop-off or pick-up. The Contacts page is located in the Staff Menu under the School heading.
Class Sign Ups (K-12)
Staff users can now add a class signup step in the admissions process for parents to enroll their children in a la carte classes, charge the parents a fee per class, and enable payment plans and associated discounts for the fees of their class selection. This step is a student step in the admissions process, meaning parents will complete the step separately for each of their children. This allows parents select different classes for their different children.
Minimum and Maximum Number of Class Selections on Class Sign Up Step
We've added a configuration to the class sign up step so that staff users can now specify a minimum and/or maximum amount of classes that can be selected by the applicant to complete their class sign up.
Finance Adjustments Report
We've added a new report for staff users in Align called the Finance Adjustments Report. This report gives visibility on which students have had discounts or credit memos applied to their finances, what the adjustment amount was, which fee item it was applied to, the new fee balance after the adjustment, the date of the adjustment, the discount or credit memo type, any note added to the financial adjustment, and links the receipt for the adjustment. The report can be filtered by date range, school year, fee item, and adjustment type, and it gives a total monetary amount of adjustments made for the filtered view at the top of the page.
Auto-Complete Graded Classes
Students who have completed all of the lessons for a graded class and have had all of their assignments graded for that class will now automatically have their class enrollment status changed to Complete once the class end date has passed. Staff users no longer have to manually finalize the cumulative grades for those students in order to have the students marked as Complete and have their final grade appear on their transcript.
Credits + Discounts Column on Student List
There is now a column on the student list that shows the total amount of credits and/or discounts that have been applied to a student's finances for the school year. That amount was previously included in the Amount Received column.
Discount Total on Student Finances (Vocational)
Students now have a block at the top of their Finance Overview page that shows the total amount of Discounts and/or Credits they've received. Previously, that amount was included in the total of the Amount Paid block.
Date Picker Submission with Enter Key
This fix addressed an issue when a user was editing a date field with the calendar date picker, and they typed in the date value and clicked 'enter' or 'return', the field did not receive the value.
Payment Plan Installment Logic
We've updated the logic used for the Tuition Agreement Step in terms of payment plan installment dates and amounts. Previously, if a student was agreeing to a payment plan that had installments occur before the start date of their school year, on their Finance page, those installment dates would have dropped off of their plan and those installment amounts would be added onto the last installment date of the payment plan. The logic is now adjusted so that any payment plan installment dates and amounts that occur before the start date of school will remain accurately intact on the student's finances after completing the Tuition Agreement Step.
