Discounts

Discounts in Align can be created and applied to student accounts.  When configuring a Fee, you can:

• Create a Discount Name
• Choosing the Amount for a Discount.
• Internal Description (optional)
• Choosing to Recognize Revenue against a Discount.
• Selecting a Finance Class to which this Discount will belong.
• Choosing to enable of Disable a Discount.

Be careful when editing the following fields on a discount:

• The Name of an existing Discount, as this changes every existing transaction where this Discount has been used.

You must have the correct Permissions to be able to view, edit, or apply a Discount.
